Group description
​
Long ago when the smiths first formed there were cats who loyally worshiped and followed the song of the Sun Incarnate Ägres, forming the smiths under a culture of warmth, friendship, and mirth.

Many years since, with many cats of various faiths and cultures merging into the smiths, a majority of the smiths have become agnostic, generally not following the word of any god, but a small group of Ägres worshipers still exist and spread his good word through the smiths.

These cats are not separate from the smiths, simply a group within them. They are a generally very friendly group who’s worst crime is usually just being too loud!

Hierarchy
The Sun Singers have a leader despite being a group inside of the Smiths of the Meadow that do not have a leader. Their leader is chosen by vote and is chosen by who has the best singing voice. This cat is called the Song Cat. The rest of them are equals as they are simply jolly people who want to spread warmth and mirth of Ägres to all who listen! The subgroup consists of mostly adults, as the Smiths generally don’t support raising a kit to believe in only one divine. So the Sun Singers are often adults either turned to Ägre’s faith or ones that have indeed been raised by the Sun Singers and chosen to stay in the faith.

Location and territory

The Sun Singers live inside the village of the Smiths of the Meadow, inside an old large twoleg den (barn)  with a hole in the roof. It filters sunlight that beams to an oak tree that grows inside the den. Its many branches and leaves hold the den’s ceiling in place and many cats make nests in the crevices of its branches. At the base of the tree is a large ‘’stage’’ made of rocks and wooden boards the cats have carried there. All are welcome to the Bard's Rest!

Quirks/Traditions

_Parties_
These cats are super into festivities and celebrations! They often host them in their den to everyone! These parties are to honor Ägres, but not everyone joining has to follow the Dawn Child.

_Traveling Bards_
Despite having a den, these guys like to travel in small groups to spread the warmth of the sun deity Ägres! They seek adventure while trying to welcome strangers into their ranks.

_Never Ending Day celebrations_
Understandably, this is their favorite holiday and one where they host huge parties at their own den.

_Sun worship_
As the their name suggest, these cats worship the sun. They believe it gives them warmth and joy. They do not necesarrily sacrifice anything to Ägres to gain His favor, instead they belive His love is unconditional and as sure as it is that the sun rises each dawn.
